At HelpKidzLearn, protecting student privacy is at the heart of everything we do. We understand how essential it is for schools and educators to comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and we’re here to support that.

What is FERPA?

FERPA is a federal law in the United States that protects the privacy of student education records. It applies to all schools that receive funding from the U.S. Department of Education and governs how student information is collected, stored, and shared.

How HelpKidzLearn Meets FERPA Standards

We’re pleased to confirm that HelpKidzLearn is fully certified for FERPA compliance through iKeepSafe. This means our platform has undergone a thorough third-party assessment to ensure that we meet the strict requirements for handling student information under FERPA.

However, it’s important to note:

  • HelpKidzLearn does not collect, store, or process any student data (personally identifiable information, or PII)

  • Access to learning content is managed through the HelpKidzLearn Hub, designed with privacy and security in mind

  • We do not require student accounts, rostering, or identifiable information from learners
