At HelpKidzLearn, we understand how important it is for school districts to ensure that any digital learning tools used in the classroom fully align with student data privacy regulations, including the Student Online Personal Protection Act (SOPPA).
We’re pleased to clarify that HelpKidzLearn does not collect, store, or process any student data (personally identifiable information, or PII). All access to our learning content is managed through the HelpKidzLearn Hub, which has been carefully designed to protect student privacy at every level.
SOPPA applies to service providers that collect or process student data on behalf of schools. Since our platform does not collect or manage student data, SOPPA does not apply to our services.
That said, we recognise the need for transparency and reassurance around compliance. To support this:
HelpKidzLearn is approved in the Student Data Privacy Consortium (SDPC) Resource Registry for Illinois
We hold iKeepSafe certifications for COPPA, FERPA, and CSPC, demonstrating alignment with federal and state-level data privacy standards
Our platform does not support student rostering via Clever or similar services
OIDC-based single sign-on (SSO) is available for administrator access

As our services do not involve the collection or processing of student data, we do not enter into SOPPA-specific or district-specific privacy agreements. All relevant information is available in our public documentation and certifications.
If you need support reviewing our compliance materials or have any questions, our team is here to help. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
